Daily responsibilities include building digital magazines and managing iPad and Android app content.

Job Description:

 

We are looking for a motivated and team oriented Mobile Developer to join our Mobile Platforms Group in Austin, TX and help drive innovation and quality in our mobile client applications on a wide array of platforms and devices.  

 

To do this you will be expected to gather requirements, design and implement solutions - and then impart quality via code review, unit and functional testing all within a team focused agile project management lifecycle.  

 

There will be a multitude of opportunities to learn new skills, take ownership and provide leadership over products and advance your career in either technical or management functions. 

 

Our work environment is very casual with a focus on giving developers everything they need to enjoy the projects they are working on and to be successful in executing them.

 

Requirements:

  • iOS/Objective-C development experience: 2+ years

  • Android development experience: 1+ years

  • HTML, JavaScript and CSS experience: 2+ years

  • Excellent understanding of XML and JSON

  • Basic knowledge of RDBMS development

  • Basic knowledge of web service development

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience

  • Drive for learning new things and taking on tough assignments where you have little or no experience

Nice to have:

Web Application UI/UX Designer

 

Job Description:

 

We are looking for a motivated and team oriented UI/UX Designer to join our Web Platforms Group and help drive innovation and quality in our customer facing web applications.

 

To do this you will be expected to gather requirements, propose and implement/mock-up designs, and conduct usability testing/research - all while working closely with management and development teams for feedback and iterative execution on bringing new design concepts to market.

 

Our work environment is very casual with a focus on giving designers and developers everything they need to enjoy the projects they are working on and to be successful in executing them.

 

Requirements:

  • Passion for creating highest quality web application UI/UX
  • 3+ years of web application UI/UX design work experience - portfolio of work required
  • Experience conducting both market/qualitative research and usability testing of UI/UX designs
  • Expert with graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Edge
  • Expert with wireframe/mockup tools like Balsamiq or Lucidchart
  • Expert with HTML5 and CSS3
  • Experience developing in javascript utilizing libraries like jQuery
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Computer Science or equivalent work experience (in addition to work experience mentioned above)
  • Drive for learning new things and taking on tough assignments where you have little or no experience
